Dear Mr. Motorcycle Rider, I must apologize to you. I saw you in the review mirror when I considered getting into the left lane to go around the semi in my lane, waiting for the SUV with its own trailer to get by me with the line of other cars in that passing lane, the one you were riding in. But then the truck signaled to get into the right lane and started to do so and I figured I’d be able to pass it in my lane without getting over. Unfortunately, the truck driver changed his mind and pulled back into my lane after I had moved almost all the way up into his space, signaling. I signaled to go into the left lane and checked my mirror – you were still visible in my center one – and the nose of my car was now dangerously close to the tractor trailer, so I pulled over into the left lane. My mistake was I misjudged your speed. Yes, we were all going over the speed limit, but apparently you were going much more over that. I don’t know where you were going; the SUV with its trailer
