But then the truck signaled to get into the right lane and started to do so and I figured I’d be able to pass it in my lane without getting over. Unfortunately, the truck driver changed his mind and pulled back into my lane after I had moved almost all the way up into his space, signaling. I signaled to go into the left lane and checked my mirror – you were still visible in my center one – and the nose of my car was now dangerously close to the tractor trailer, so I pulled over into the left lane. I bought a (relatively) new car the other day. My 30 year-old daily driver needs a complete rebuild (engine, tranny, turbo, etc.) and has a lot of quirks. Not getting rid of it yet, just need to save up enough to restore it if possible.
